Here we are... already in August!! Mauri and I have been enjoying our summer and spending some time at home. We know that before you know it... football season will be here!! Plus, the weekend before our first game we are headed to New Jersey to visit our friends James and Julie. If the title picture of this post seems odd... you are probably not alone. Recently at the liquor store down the street they started selling draft beer to go! If there is one thing I love... it is draft beer. The above pic is of some Leinenkugel Summer Shandy. It is $12 for a gallon jug. Once open... it lasts about 48hrs by my scientific testing process. :-) A great discovery.
In addition to lots of beach walks and sunsets I also did another wedding the other weekend. This was for a couple from Dothan getting married in Carillon Beach which is about a mile from our house. I am one of the 'approved' vendors for Carillon. I have only done a few weddings this year, but I am sure if I marketed myself more I could stay quite busy. It is one of those fine lines though bc Mauri and I love to spend time together on the weekend since we hardly see one another during the week.
This weekend we are going to a bathroom fixture store in Destin to pick out hardware to 'trick out' our shower. Although our shower is ridiculously big it only has 1 shower head. We decided for our 6th anniversary that would add some bling to it. We will let you know what we come up with... or if you have any ideas post them here!
