Mauri is out of town this weekend visiting her folks and taking care of some family business in South Georgia so I was left to fend for myself. Most of my weekends are spent at work, but still there is some free time that I need to be entertained.
Luckily, sometimes after the weekend 11pm newscast a few of the guys get together to go see a movie. Last night they decided to see Iron Man and I tagged along.
I was not much of a comic book kid growing up & I had never heard of Iron Man let alone did I know there was a movie coming out. Still, it is an action flick and the preliminary reviews looked good.
The movie ended up being very, very good. I thoroughly enjoyed it. It was the best superhero movie in several years. Probably the best since Spiderman 1 or 2. I think even some girls would like it. So, if you are looking for a nice action flick to check out before Indiana Jones comes out later this month.
Mauri gets back tomorrow... just in time for boot camp & Cinco de Mayo! Maybe Mike will find a way to incorporate margaritas and push-ups!
