UPS follow up...

So, after the Thursday UPS insult apparently the same guy decided to twist the knife on Friday....

I spent much of the day at CNN Friday getting re-familiar with the domestic side and how all that works. I got home around 5 and was talking to Mauri while she was on her way home when there was a knock at the door. Because I was in the kitchen next to the door, I was able to reach and open it quickly. Who was it? Yep, the same UPS guy. He had left a package and was walking away when he turned to me with an evil sneer (maybe an exaggeration) and says to me...

'I should have known you would be here!'

Bastard!! Two days in a row he gets me! The worst part is if he had delivered the thing at any point in the day I would not have been home... I would have been at work!!! But because his sorry butt delivered it late, I actually was home!!!

Now the worst part of this whole exchange was that my loving, supportive wife heard what he said. Was she angry and upset that someone would make fun of her husband? Well, maybe, but it was tough to tell behind all of the laughter!

Well, Mr. UPS guy, I dare you to deliver to me again this week... I will be ready. And in the new year... I am getting a job!
