Last week my car had a big milestone....
It has 100,000 miles on it!!! I was able to capture the moment while I was driving it on the downtown connector. That means I have driven her the equivalent to driving around the Earth at the equator 4 times!!
The feat happened at the tail end of our trip to Macon last weekend. My trusty Bimmer is a little more than 9 years old so it has taken a while to hit the 6 digit mark... especially since I have probably only put about 5000 miles a year on it since I moved to Atlanta.
I am proud of my black friend. She has been with me through thick and thin. Here's hoping she lasts a 100,000 more (especially if I do not work much). :-)
