So, in a post below from last week I mentioned one of my favorite Noles, Warrick Dunn. His new book just came out this past week. I found out he was going to be in Tallahassee last Saturday signing copies, but it was at Noon!! We would be at tailgate long before that so I was a little disappointed I would not be able to get an autographed copy.
On Sunday I was on the Warchant message boards and saw that he would be in Atlanta Monday night at 7pm at the Barnes and Noble on Peachtree in Buckhead.
I asked the Mrs. if we could go right after bootcamp and she gave the OK! After waiting in line about 45 minutes I got my copy autographed. :-) Mauri was able to stock up on her beach reading material for next week too so it was a win/win!Warrick was as nice as ever. Very soft spoken. I asked if he got to the game while in Tally, which he did, but he said he did not get to 'enjoy' if much with folks pulling him here and there. Lets hope he gets back often after retirement! Can't wait to read the new book!

I am so glad to hear he was nice!! Rob and I met an AU football alum at an even here in Albany and, well, he was too cool for school :(
