back to reality...

Well, we are back from the lake and back to reality. Mauri is at work and I am unemployed! :-)

My first day of unemployment has been good. I am on my second cup of coffee. I have started to organize my computer files (pics and video) and added a bunch of friends to my newly formed facebook account. It was against my will, but Mauri made me do it. I swear I am too old for that crap and that having a blog/website is 'hip' enough, but she disagreed. My goal now is to get more friends than her and I am well on my way!!!



We had a great time at the lake. We did not catch tons of fish, but you can see who caught the biggest one in the above picture. Not to be outdone... Mauri caught a nice fish too (see below). I spent most of my time chilling on the dock fishing. It is so nice and relaxing because there is nothing to do around there and no one is around.



The weather was pretty good. There were those typical storms that chased us in a few times, but we did not mind. Here is a rain shower starting while we were out on the lake...



For the 4th we went to Ft. Gaines to see the fireworks display. It was quite good... especially for a small town. Maybe Lenox Square is better, but I would take this one any day b/c it took 3 minutes to get out of the parking lot!!!
