Mauri and I have now been married for more than two years. Throw in the 5 years of dating and you would think there would be no more surprises... right? Wrong!
Ever since Mauri's mom sent us home with some corn from the lake we have been enjoying some fresh corn. Of course we eat it right off the cob, but I noticed that there is a distinct difference in how we eat it.
The above picture is of Mauri's corn after she is done. Strangely erotic, isn't it? I swear, I have never seen anything like it. I mean, I eat all the kernals, but she goes so much farther. It is crazy! There is nothing and I mean nothing left other than the cob! Zip, zero, zilch! Anyway, I probably need a better picture than my cell phone camera can get and you probably need to see it for yourself.
Incidentally, here is a picture of the dessert Mauri got for her birthday at Lobby the other week. Meghan and Leslie took good care of us as always!Off to the post office to send DVD's to Chicago, Baton Rouge, and Vegas! I did get a call from a station in Panama City. The chief might leave and I am at the top of their list. Panama City is a small market, but it would be a quality of life move as we would be close to both families and Tallahassee. A win, win, win. I will keep you posted.
