271 17th Street, the future home of BB&T bank continues to go up. It is now 16 stories high. If I remember correctly, it will be 25 stories high... so it has another 10 to go.
Both of the construction cranes have been raised. That is quite a neat process to watch. The nearest thing I can describe it to is leaning your ladder on a tree branch and then cutting that branch! :-) Somehow though it works. :-)
Here are the pictures from earlier building updates. You can see how fast the building is going up.

I know you will be excited for the August update in just a few weeks!

Hey Chris and Mauri! I found your blog from Mauri's facebook page. I have loved reading it--ya'll are hilarious!!
Anyway, Rob's company (he works for Brasfield and Gorrie) is building 271 "17th"....as they call it ;) It's pretty massive!!
Rob is not on that job, though. He is in the medical division, and he is building a new tower at Phoebe in Albany. So don't be mad at him for taking away your view ;)
