Our friends, Ryan & Stacy, were featured in an article in the Macon Telegraph last week. It is about how they met and how similar it is to another hockey player for the original Macon Whoopee back in the 1970s and a 'southern belle'. As you will read, Ryan is a former hockey player from Canada and Stacy is from middle Georgia and works for the Cherry Blossom Festival. They met when she was an intern for the Macon Whoopee. They were actually married at the same place we got married, Henderson Village.
We later became friends when I met Stacy through the Cherry Blossom Festival. Anyway, check out the story.
The good news is Mauri and I are headed to Macon is a couple weeks for our anniversary and we are planning to get together with Ryan & Stacy.
