The Saturday before Memorial Day we went to a wedding party for our friends Dave and Leigh. I worked with them both in Macon. Leigh was my intern before becoming our weekend weather person. Dave came as a producer. Anyway, they met and dated in Macon before Dave got a job in Raleigh and Leigh worked in Charleston. This past winter they both got jobs in Tampa.
Anyway, they got married back in December, but it was a real small wedding so they had a party for family and friends the other week. Luckily Leigh's mom and dad live near Atlanta so it was easy for us to get to. We just went to the party that afternoon before going to the lake for Memorial Day.
Anyway, just wanted to share the above picture. The party was a blast and it was so nice to see both Dave and Leigh. We are hoping to all get together in Raleigh this fall for the FSU-NCSU game. If there is one thing they can do... it is have a good time tailgating! :-)
