So, we got an e-mail announcing our new boss in the news department. I am not familiar with the guy so I did a google search on him and turned up this article from 3 years ago...

You will see from the article that the guy is a weather nut! This makes no sense. Why would the GM hire a ND who loves what his pet project, Dagwood, can never be? Was my theory about the GM forcing my old ND to use Dagwood wrong? Will the reign of terror for Dagwood come to a quick end with this new ND? None of this makes sense, they pay her big money to be 'chief' when she knows nothing about weather, they fire the old ND b/c he did not 'support' her supposedly, and then they hire a new ND who is just as big a weather nut as the old one?
And you wonder why we are #4?
Well, the good news is I have 2.5 weeks left on my deal. I might be able to slide by w/o a contract for a bit until he gets settled and starts to make some changes. The next month could be crazy... The new boss starts July 7. The end of my contract is July 5. I might end up being that stapler guy in office space who just keeps showing up! :-) I will keep you posted.
