Chris and I celebrated our two year anniversary yesterday(6/24/06). We actually started our celebration a little early by sneaking down to Macon, where we met, over the weekend. We spent the night at my favorite place, the 1842 Inn. While we were there we were able to catch up with some great old friends. We had an absolutely wonderful time at Frank and Marilyn's on Saturday night. They had a cookout for us and we were able to catch up with them, Ben, Lorra, Ryan, Stacy, Shane, Christy, Brad/baby, Matt, Nick, & Meredith. Suffice it to say, MANY laughs and quite a few drinks were shared! In fact, we stayed up until 2 am talking and laughing. Thanks Malloys for always making us feel like we are back home!!
Yesterday, we both had to work and then go to bootcamp. So, we came home and cleaned ourselves up afterwards. Then we exchanged gifts and headed off for a nice, quiet dinner. After dinner, we came home and opened a bottle of wine that was given to us on our wedding day. It was a wonderful bottle that we enjoyed on our balcony. The perfect ending to a blissful year together!
It's hard to believe that two years have passed! I look forward to @ least 60 more with my sweetie!! :)
