more on new boss...

The part about him is about a third of the way down where it starts...

It should be interesting to say the least. At least he takes weather seriously. I am not sure how he can make it work with the person 'leading' the department now so at least it gives me hope which I did not have much of before last week.

As for me, my contract us up 2 weeks from tomorrow. Not sure what will happen. I either leave on the 5th, they come to me between now and then with an offer, or I just keep coming to work like the stapler guy in Office Space until they tell me not to come.

On a more positive front, I had a call from CNN offering me freelance work. I am not sure how much work would be involved, but at least it is something and it would be national exposure. I have a friend of mine who is an attorney looking over my non-compete to see if cable outlets would violate the non-compete.

We are off to Macon tomorrow for our 'anniversary trip.' We are staying at our favorite B&B, the 1842 inn. It will also be nice to get together with all of our old friends.

I will keep you posted on the job situation.
